To ensure the coating bonds perfectly to your car, we perform a mechanical "clay bar" treatment. Think of this as a deep exfoliation for your vehicle. We gently lift away microscopic bonded contaminants like tree sap and tar, leaving a surface so smooth it looks like glass.

Will ceramic coating make my car scratch-proof?
No, it is not "scratch-proof," but it is significantly more scratch-resistant than factory paint. The coating creates a hard, glass-like layer (often rated 9H on the pencil hardness scale) that helps prevent minor swirl marks from improper washing. For heavy-duty protection against rock chips and deep scratches, we recommend combining ceramic coating with Paint Protection Film (PPF).
How long will the ceramic coating actually last?
The lifespan depends on the specific product and how well it is maintained. We apply Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL) and Gtechniq EXO V4. If you would like it to last 3 years then we apply CSL only and the for a full 5 year durability we apply both CSL and EXO V4.
Do I still need to wash my car after it's coated?
Yes. While the coating has hydrophobic "self-cleaning" properties that repel water and dirt, contaminants like bird droppings and road film will still accumulate. However, the slick surface makes the wash process much faster and easier because dirt cannot bond as stubbornly to the paint.
Can I take my coated car through an automatic car wash?
We strongly recommend against using automatic car washes with spinning brushes. The aggressive bristles and harsh chemicals used in these systems can abrade the coating, leading to premature failure and swirl marks. For the best results, stick to a contactless wash or a gentle hand wash using the two-bucket method.
Will ceramic coating hide existing scratches or swirl marks?
Ceramic coatings are transparent and do not act as "fillers" for deep damage. In fact, the high-gloss finish can sometimes make existing defects more visible by locking them under the glass-like layer. This is why we perform a professional paint correction(polishing) before application—to ensure your paint is flawless before it is permanently sealed.
